Lodge
What a combination! With short and long term guests from the four corners of the earth rubbing elbows with local villagers, Basambilu Lodge & Tours is a fascinating accommodation to engage in a lively conversation with a fellow traveller or village elder.
The lush garden with indigenous trees will invite you for a laid-back afternoon and the swimming pool is the spot to cool off. You can enjoy a cold drink at the palm tree lapa bar & lounge then stick around to enjoy your own set up African braai! The traditional style Rondavels will offer you a uniquely African accommodation to sleep and you’ll awaken to the chorus of hundreds of local birds.
Holiday Packages
There’s no such thing as one size fits all at Living Africa. Let the Living Africa team create the holiday of your dreams and put together a blend of activities and accommodation that suites your passions and your pocket. They will make it as personal as you like.
We recommend staying for at least 5 days, but flexibility is on your side. (even for 1 night we will come up with something special). Let them know how much time you have! Be warned though, boredom is not their speciality. Don’t be surprised if you want to stay longer!

Basambilu Lodge & Tours
This in African style build lodge is the home base of Living Africa. Basambilu Lodge & Tours is based in the centre of the township Lulekani (Ba-Phalaborwa) and is having a weekly entertainment program full with African culture & music.
LekaGape
Living Africa takes pride in supporting LekaGape’s orphanage and pre-school as our social responsibility. Many students and volunteers from around the world have already given their time to lekaGape during the past years.
